- Be certain to run cold water through your garbage disposal both during and after each use.
- Foods such as noodles, banana peels, rice or other fibrous material(s) should not be put down the drain. Many believe that the disposal will chop it up and send it down the drain just fine, but this is not the case. The majority of calls regarding a clogged kitchen sink are due to these type of materials.
